I had this thought for almost a month now; how do I explain what I understand about the Law of Attraction to someone, and what it entails? This is what I understand, from my own experience.

What is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction is the universal law that states – you get what you want, every single time. And the biggest challenge of explaining this concept is the following – every single time? I’m going to say yes. The challenge with most people is, understanding ‘who’ controls what we really want.

LAW OF ATTRACTION

The Law of Gravity versus the Law of Attraction

I so love this example to explain the concept that like gravity, attraction too is a universal law that operates without fail. People believe that gravity is law because when you drop anything from above ground; it falls down due to gravity.

With regards to the Law of Attraction, because when they get into undesirable conditions and circumstances, which is opposite of what they wanted to attract, they might be inclined to say that attraction isn’t a law because it doesn’t work every single time.

And this is where I am proud to paraphrase Dr. Joe Vitale’s explanation on this matter. Saying that because you don’t get what you want, therefore the Law of Attraction doesn’t work, is like saying when ten paratroopers jump off an airplane and two of them did not land on the red spot, therefore gravity doesn’t work.

How to get what you want in life?

Here are two quick tips to help you get on the right track with using the Law of Attraction to get what you want in your life:

1.) It’s about maneuvering

Like any other laws in this world, it is about maneuvering them into your favor. This begins with an understanding on the law you’re working on. An easy example on this is the airplane and the Law of Gravity.

The Wright Brothers pioneered the proper maneuvering the Law of Gravity, using the principles of propulsion that allows for their contraption to hover and glide through the air.

By understanding how gravity works, they were able to apply one of the principles of physics which is propulsion, to overcome the pulling force of gravity and voila, the airplane was born.
